Incorporated in 1964, Norco is a rare horse town, nicknamed Horsetown USA, nestled in the central portion of the Inland Empire north of Corona and south of the new community of Eastvale and Ontario. Norco is a well established horse property community with many things to do. Shopping is well established along the main street corridor of Hamner Ave. In addition, just minutes away to the north is the Eastvale Gateway Center, and further up to 15 freeway is Ontario Mills Outlet Mall. Five more minutes north on the freeway is the pedestrian mall of Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. The horse property town of Norco is also home of the PRCA Rodeo, held in August. Later in the fall, it's time for the Norco Fair, held at the George Ingall's Equestrian Event Center. The Equestrian Event Center also hosts various horse related activities throughout the year, including the 4th of July Trail Ride Picnic in the Park. Norco homes are treated every summer to Concerts in the Park at Pike's Peak Park. In addition to horse activities, Norco is very youth friendly. The city of Norco has many activities available through Parks and Rec Department, as well as various competitive youth sports.
